Who I Am

I am currently a photojournalism major and photography minor at San Jose State University. I am currently an “amateur” photographer with aspirations of becoming a “professional” as soon as possible. While I am mainly a photojournalist I also enjoy experimenting with more fine-art photographic styles. However, being rather underfunded as college students typically are my ability to “roam” the photographic landscape is somewhat limited but I do what I can with what I have. Thanks for looking!

    Displace me! was an event hosted by the non-profit invisible children inc. designed to organize the youth of the United States to recognize and raise awareness of the plight of the 1.8 million internally displaced citizens of Uganda. The event entailed building cardboard huts to spend the night in and viewing videos about the situation in the displacement camps in Uganda. [all participants signed a consent form to allow the use of any images taken of them during the event].
